Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers to what our clients ask most about insulation and screeds
What is the difference between spray foam and membrane rolls?
Polyurethane foam is spray-applied into one seamless layer that insulates against water and heat together and is protected by a reflective coating, while membrane comes in torch-welded rolls, is primarily waterproofing, and is usually covered by a protection screed or tiles. The choice depends on the roof condition and what goes on top.
Which suits an exposed roof better: foam or membrane?
For an exposed roof that will not be tiled, foam with a reflective protective coating is practical because it combines thermal and water insulation; if the roof will be covered by screed or tiles, membrane beneath the covering layers is the established choice. We inspect and recommend accordingly.
Does foam insulation reduce air-conditioning consumption?
Thermal roof insulation cuts the heat transferred from the roof into the building, which reflects on cooling load; the effect varies with the building, insulation thickness and usage conditions.
What are the steps of waterproofing a water tank?
Draining and cleaning the tank, inspecting walls and floor and treating cracks, preparing the surfaces, applying an internal lining suitable for water contact, then testing watertightness before refilling.
How do I detect a leaking tank?
Common signs: an unexplained drop in water level, damp or algae around the tank base, visible cracks, or an unusually high water bill.
Can an existing tank be waterproofed without demolition?
Usually yes — cracks and weak points are treated and a new internal lining applied; larger interventions are only needed for severe structural damage.
Why are epoxy floors suited to warehouses?
They form a hard seamless surface that withstands forklift traffic, resists oils and chemicals, sheds no dust and cleans easily — we have delivered epoxy works for our clients’ warehouses.
Can epoxy be applied to old concrete?
Yes, after proper preparation — cleaning, grinding and treating cracks and contamination; preparation quality is what determines adhesion and service life.
What are the benefits of foam concrete for roofs?
Light weight that spares the structure, precise falls toward drains, protection of the waterproofing layer, and added thermal insulation from its cellular structure — suitable for all building roofs and parking lots.
Is foam concrete suitable for parking areas?
Yes — we execute foam concrete for building roofs and parking lots, normally completed with finishing layers appropriate to vehicle traffic.
What is helicopter screed finishing?
A screed finished mechanically with a rotating-blade power trowel (the "helicopter"), producing a smooth, level, durable surface ideal for parking decks, warehouses and large areas.
When does a roof need re-insulation?
When leaks or damp appear on ceilings after rain, the existing insulation layer cracks or peels, or upper floors get noticeably hotter. Treatment starts with an inspection of the existing insulation.
Do you waterproof bathrooms and kitchens in new builds?
Yes — we waterproof wet areas before tiling, turning the membrane up the walls, detailing drains, and flood-testing before handover.
What concrete treatments do you provide?
Crack injection or patch repair, removal of deteriorated concrete, rebar treatment and protection, section rebuilding with suitable repair mortars, plus general restorations and maintenance.
What signs show a building needs restoration?
Visible cracks in concrete elements, spalling or hollow-sounding concrete, rust staining on surfaces, or persistent damp — all call for early inspection before the damage compounds.
Do you work on large projects only, or homes too?
Both — we have delivered works on major projects such as Roshn, the Red Sea Project and government buildings in Wadi Safar, and we also insulate residential buildings and villas.
How do I request a quote?
Through the website contact form, by calling 0539010804, or directly via WhatsApp — send the site details, service type and approximate area and we arrange the inspection.
Do you provide a guarantee on insulation works?
Yes — our works are delivered with high efficiency and guarantee; the specifics for each project are set out in the technical offer and contract.
Does your scope include tile installation?
Yes — our services include tile installation for all buildings and roofs alongside insulation and foam concrete, allowing us to hand over the roof complete with all its layers.
Which areas do you serve?
We operate across Saudi Arabia — our projects have included Riyadh, Wadi Safar, the Red Sea Project and Jeddah Central.
